Programming a crystal involves you transferring your energy and wishes onto it, thus making it operate in tandem with your requirements. This ensures that the crystal works more effectively and assists you in your personal or spiritual path. Below is a step-by-step guide to properly programming your crystals:

Step 1: Cleanse Your Crystal

Prior to programming, always clean your crystal to clear out any residual energies. You may use:

Sunlight or Moonlight – Place it under the sun or full moon for a few hours.
Water Rinse – Run it under clean water (only for water-safe crystals like Quartz and Amethyst).

Step 2: Hold Your Crystal & Connect

Hold the crystal in your writing hand (the hand you use to write) to transfer energy.
Breathe deeply and concentrate on your crystal. Sense its energy in your hand.

Step 3: Set Your Intention

Clearly state what you want the crystal to assist you with (love, protection, success, clarity, etc.).
Say or think your intention in the positive and present tense.

Step 4: Visualize & Infuse Energy

Close your eyes and visualize a beam of light (golden, white, or violet) emanating from your palms into the crystal.
Sense the crystal taking in your intent and resonating with energy.
Maintain this attention for 2-5 minutes until you can feel the energy is strong.

Step 5: Seal the Intention

Say “Thank you, my crystal, for working with me. It is now charged with my full intention.”
People often like to blow on the crystal gently and say “I seal this now” or words to that effect.
Place the crystal near you (in your pocket, under your pillow, or on your desk) to recharge its energy.
